 Northeast Haflinger Association
There are a small growing number of clubs and associations involved with the
promotion of the Haflinger by sales, exhibitions, and just plain “fun” events. The
Northeast Haflinger Association is one of these organizations. NEHA - est. 1983,
is involved with education promotions, family ride and drives, exhibitions and just
“fun days”. NEHA has a non-competitive flavor, with friendly folks always happy to
show the newcomer their Haflingers or help him/her find one for themselves. NEHA
continues to bring the Haflinger horse to the general public through breed
demonstrations, open competitions, and farm tours.

To the members of the NEHA - from all of us on the New York Gold Classic Registered Haflinger Horse Show Committee we would like to yet again extend a HUGE thank you to everyone in the North East Haflinger Association, Audrey Safford and the Connelly Family of NH for donating such a huge gift.  The winner was chosen by the NYGC Committee of 10 people and was awarded to the family who exhibited sincere dedication to the breed and at the same time who are out promoting the breed.  The picture was displayed throughout the show and admired by many including the Europeans who came to our show.  The winners are Rick and Beverly Blad of Sprucewood Haflingers.

Thank you again!
